JEWELCAD / CAM part 2
(Computer Aided Designing and Computer Aided Manufacturing).
Here I will continue my writing about JewelCAD part 1.
As it goes I will discuss about the following toolbars, which I think plays a very
important role in making designs using JewelCAD.
Toolbars are:
1.Curve toolbars.
2.Surface toolbars.
From the toolbars above both have a very important role in the process of
drawing, it is because the two toolbars are very closely related to each other.
Here CURVE toolbars are very instrumental in making the framework /
foundation of the image that we will make, which is then followed by the
formation of the surface (surface) using SURFACE toolbars.
Because if there is a picture within the framework of making a little mistake
was the result of the surface will not correct / good.
It is therefore very important and essential if we need to give little attention to
these two toolbars.
6. CURVE toolbars.
In these toolbars are tools that serve to make the curve fit with what we
needed. From each of these tools have various functions that we can adjust the
pattern that we will create an image.
The results of the curve in the form of 2D images that will be generated by
surface toolbars to produce images in 3D.
Consists of several tools, among others:
- Cut & Paste.
- Vertical Mirror Copy.
- Horizontal Mirror Copy.
- Revolve Copy.
- Cycle Copy.
- Extend Copy.
- Revolve Copy.
7. SURFACE toolbars.
This is a continuation of toolbars toolbars curve, as I have made above that
this toolbar has been linked to curve toolbar.
At SURFACE toolbars there are a variety of tools we can use to form a 3D
object with no difficulty.
However, the results of these toolbars SURFACE rely on 2D images that we
created with toolbars CURVE.
The tools of the toolbars are SURFACE;
- Extend Surface.
- Vertical Revolve.
- Horizontal Revolve.
- Loft Surface.
- Pipe Surface.
- Rail Surface.
8. Boolean toolbars.
Has a function to perform cuts between the intersection
between two surface or lebih.Dan also has usefulness as a Group or
Ungroup the objects we make.
In the toolbar there are, among others;
- Union.
- Dis-Boolean.
- Intersect.
- Subtract.
Likewise I give a little review about JewelCAD its explanation of the
function-funsi toolbars that exist in JewelCAD.
From here I look forward to a little help for the not so familiar with what
exactly JewelCAD.
